Apache + tomcat with partnerapp application + josso2

1.tomcat and josso2 are running in same server
2. apache running on different server

how to configure apache reverseproxy for this configuration?

logging via tomcat - its working fine - redirects from tomcat:8080 to josso:8081

i am getting HTTP status 404

I would like to know does JOSSO2 supports custom authentication modules. If JOSSO2 supports custom authentication, Is there a document on how to create custom authentication module.

Have a question. We are thinking of using this technology. We are a large security centric organization. How does JOSSO manages all the keys that are part of standard SAML hub and spoke implementation? All the SAML Assertions need to be signed when SAML POST binding is used. Is the single key used to sign all these assertions by the identity provider? Where is it stored?

Hi Support Team,
i tried to install JOSSO Agent for PHP and excute the sample application. It seems that Agent crash on Soap feedback from JOSSO GW:

I have a single Windows Host with a Tomcat instance (listening on 8080) for the JOSSO GW and an Apache/PHP (XAMPP) where i installed the PHP Agent and the sample app.
any help would be appreciated.

When i recall the sample app, i'm prompted for credentials and then it crash:
1. in the gw log i see:

I have installed and configured SSO(JOSSO-1.8.0). Its throwing following error

Running another Spring Webapp

During the installation of JOSSO some JAR files are copied into the Tomcat's lib folder.

From the Apache Tomcat 6.0 Class Loader How-To (http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-6.0-doc/class-loader-howto.html)
application classes should *not* be placed in the Tomcat's lib folder, because it overrides the webapps /WEB-INF/lib folder.

Now I have a partner webapp which uses the Spring framework in a different version, and on startup it rains exceptions.
How can I sovle that problem? Is it possible to run the JOSSO agent and the partner webapp in different Tomcats?

Authentication using both username/password and client cert

I am tring to configure JOSSO authentication with both
username/password and client certificate.

When I used the certificate in josso-credentials.xml
JOSSO login page does not appear.

Is it possible to have such a configuration where we
can have both.

Can someone point me to more info.

Josso Gateway server from my java application.
I need to extract the total number of active sessions
from the server or does the authentication from an
standalone application by passing the userId/password.
(In order to pass the Josso Login page)
Is there any help how to start using this API from my

Hi,
I'm a newbi to JOSSO I ..I recently installed JOSS
but strangely I can get access to the application
upposed to be protected . when I inspected the log
file.. I found out the message "SSO Cookie is not
present "

That was one person got the same message but it still
waiting for a explanation..could anyone give a helping
hint to this ...
