#135 Invalid privatekey with latest version of PuTTY
I have found that the following must be true for PuTTY-generated private keys:
- The type specification must be identified as "PuTTY-User-Key-File-2"
- The line endings must be CRLF
The new PuTTY (0.76), however, produces a file where:
- The type specification is identified as "PuTTY-User-Key-File-3"
- The line endings are LF
This is not parsed properly, and results in an exception ("invalid privatekey")
If the key file is manually changed to have ""PuTTY-User-Key-File-2" and CRLFs, then all works well
I am also facing a same issue, Not working for me even if i change to 2
I am getting Auth Fail.
RHEL 8 (FIS security system) enabled in server.
Any one can help to connect it?
