How to activate it on Eclipse 2.1 ?

Hi there,

I unzipped the files correctly into Eclipse plugin folder
(just like I did with my other plugins), but JSEditor
doesn't seem to be working, as everything is just like
before.

Is there something I should do to activate it? I'm using
Eclipse 2.1

Installation under 3.0.1 seems to not work

I see the plug in installed in the plug in configuration
screen. I installed .9b in eclipse 3.0.1
Build id: 200409161125

I cannot get the autocomplete to work or recognize the
plug in. I did delete the configuration foldreand restart,
that did nto correct the situation.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

I've been trying to find the source for the jsEditor
plugin for Eclipse 3.0. ie net.sf.wdte.js

The source is not distributed with the ZIP download and
doesn't appear to be in the CVS repository.

Can you pleae update CVS or provide a download of the
latest source.

Install Problem

Hello buddies!

I am trying to install the last version (for Eclipse 3.00)
and no success! I´ve tried to do everything that I read
in the forums and lists and so on, and it seems my
problem is even worse: I get no sign the plugin was
recognised... What should I do?

Plugin performance

I have v1.6 installed on Eclipse 3.0 Release.

I have two mappings defines within my project, and to
my consternation, the time taken to refresh the files
from VSS is just too large (>10 times than that taken by
VSS client).

Any clues why?

Downloaded 0.0.9 for Eclipse 3

On Eclipse 3.0, go to Window->Preference, The JS Editor
is displayed as %preferencePageName, clicking on it
brings up an error:
net.sf.wdte.ui.preferences.EmptyPreferencePage,

I couldnt go any further than that.

I do not understand why these plugins are released
without proper QA. Wastes people's time. A major fallout
of the open source movement I guess.

Anyways I dont expect a fix or workaround anytime soon.

On Eclipse 3.0, go to Window->Preference, The JS Editor
is displayed as %preferencePageName, clicking on it
brings up an error:
net.sf.wdte.ui.preferences.EmptyPreferencePage, go
into the plugin directory, in the directory that contains
uisrc.zip, there's no jar file. Maybe it didn't get built.

Another problem, in Window->Open View, the string %
viewCategoryName is displayed, under which a %
previewViewName is displayed, either problems with the
build on the code itself.

Eclipse unable to find JSEditor

I've the correct path and I've placed the files inside the
plugins directory without luck.

I'm running Eclipse 2.1.2. Does anyone know of any
issues, for instance, problems with plugin.xml etc?

Any help or pointers in the right direction is appreciated.

I've tried using the file -> import -> plugin path and
help -> software updates -> update manager path.
Please point me to the directions for installing this plug
