&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;add directory including subdirectory&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;view slideshow random / shuffle&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;adjust window size and auto-fit picture to the adjusted window&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;set position of window (topleft/topright/center/etc. or free prosition)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;save slideshow window scale &amp;amp; position &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;pan/zoom/fade/mosaic or other transitions  for dynamic slidshow&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;when slideshow is running hide main window&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;buttons forward / back / pause / stop when mouse move over slideshow or right menue&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

The only thing that would make it perfect would be the ability to manually back-up w/ a hot key (if you have hundreds of slides and miss something you wish to pause on you are out of luck). A small history of the last 20 slides viewed would be more than adequate for this feature to be effective.&lt;/p&gt;

specific order?  The order entered would work great&lt;br /&gt;
(since the underlying xml file could be manipulated)&lt;br /&gt;
and then for the directory, alphabetical would probably&lt;br /&gt;
be the way to go.&lt;/p&gt;
