I am not very accustommed to compiling on KNOPPIX or for KDE apps. However it sounds like some KDE .h files are required and can't be found. On this KNOPPIX, the gcc is there but that's not to say for the other development parts like headers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you steer me in the right direction to set up this KNOPPIX to compile your application? Here is the exact error message from ./configure&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;checking for KDE... configure: error:&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;gt;&amp;gt;in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers &amp;gt;&amp;gt;installed. This will fail.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;gt;&amp;gt;So, check this please and use another prefix!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Like I say I am unfamiliar with KDE or I would certainly know what files to grep for.&lt;/p&gt;
