https://sourceforge.net/p/kdiff3/feature-requests/141/Recent changes to 141: Support for "compare previous / next file" (menu, icon, keyboard)enWed, 16 Oct 2013 08:47:17 -0000https://sourceforge.net/p/kdiff3/feature-requests/141/<div class="markdown_content"><p>When comparing many files, spread across folders, I find it pretty annoying that I have to leave the keyboard and go to the mouse in order to compare the next file.<br /> So I hope you would find this useful feature and easy enough to implement.</p> <p>I have added a patch for that, hopefully might be useful in some way:<br /> - it works across folders (as if the tree is "flattened" and move from file to file)<br /> - it skips hidden files (so if one hides identical files, then they will not be "visited")<br /> - I know I have a problem with disabling the commands (to figure out if a file is the last one might require navigating the whole tree). So it does the disabling after the first failure to move.
