However there is no option to switch off case sensitive &lt;em&gt;directory&lt;/em&gt; comparison.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I use only Windows at work (not my choice!) and for most of my projects, DirectoryName and directoryname are the same thing, however KDiff3 shows them as different. It would be great to have either a separate setting for case sensitive directory name comparison, or else just have the current setting for case sensitive filename comparison also affect directory name comparison.&lt;/p&gt;
