combine kiax with other sound applications, because it will
capture the OSS sound device?
Think about sounds like receiving new e-mail, listening an
mp3 someone just sent you, it's all still impossible if you
are using kiax!
kiax does not even start, if I have another application
(using alsa) playing at the same time :-(
As kiax is now used by lot's of people as a client for the
free telephone service of voipbuster.com and it's (one of)
the most stable iax clients for linux it is becoming
increasingly popular.
Great work, but still lacking at this point, alas!

I second this. I think it would be a lot easier for everyone
(even the devs) if you would implement alsa using the
