To use the KMLCSV converter I first have to convert the csv file to a text file with encoding UTF8.&lt;br /&gt;
After conversion to a kml file all german  special characters are preserved&lt;br /&gt;
From KML to CSV: most navi devices understand only text files with encoding ISO-8859-1.&lt;br /&gt;
Tge csv file generated by KMLCSV converter is with encoding UTF-8. Loading this csv file to a navi, german special characters as ü, ä, ö, ß are scrambled.&lt;br /&gt;
Bevor laoding the navi the csv file must be converted to  ISO-8859-1.&lt;br /&gt;
Request:&lt;br /&gt;
KMLCSV should load CSV files in ISO-8859-1.&lt;br /&gt;
KMLCSV should generate CSV files in  ISO-8859-1&lt;/p&gt;
