Hi,

upon "make check" I get the following error:

ld: can't write output file: latex2rtf for architecture arm64
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Could you make tatex2rtf ARM64 compatible?

I do underdstand and unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to do it either.

Maybe asking for skills about this on e.g. comp.text.tex could be possible. Though your English is probably better than mine, I could do it if you like.

I don't know whether
1. self-locating
and
2. automake
would be possible. It may or may not. In any case it would be a lot of labor because not only the executable and its makefile need to be updated but also
3. a mechanism for automatically checking and installing the required support packages has to be applied.
I am not able to do anything in these directions, and I don't know anyone else who has the time to do that.

I could be nice for latex2rtf to be integrated to TeX Live. According to one of its maintainers, this would require for the executable:

to be self-locating (find any support files relative to its own location, preferably using kpathsea),
to use automake.

Do you think it would be possible to acheive these requirements?

Well, I would support implementation of biblatex. In the meantime they entered version 3.0 and are stable. So no need to wait.

Support \setcitestyle for natbib

Please consider adding support for the \setcitestyle command for the natbib package. This command adjusts the way natbib produces citations (in particular the punctuation surrounding and within citations). This command is described in §2.9 of the natbib documentation.

I'm writing papers on physics and I often use packages like
amsmath
amsfonts
amssymb
array
numprint
caption
textcomp
IEEEtrantools
biblatex

Is it possible to get such package being supported by the next version ?

I don't know how latex2rtf is coded but is it possible to get it using the currently installed latex distribution so that other packages could be supported ?

Support \sectionfont and \subsectionfont

We see that the section headings which were in
roman numerals are all being converted to arabic,
and being re-sized significantly.

Errors from latex2rtf which may be relevant:
