Keep up the great work! <br /> Certainly you have enough ideas for the next version of <br /> the plugin but maybe you have the time to think about <br /> these ideas:</p> <p>1. Display File Extension.<br /> Is it possible to add a variable that contains the file <br /> extension of the current audio file? A lot of hardware <br /> MP3 players are capeable of different formats and <br /> display the current format in the display. Through the <br /> file extension it would be easy to identify the various <br /> formats winamp supports and so you can check on the <br /> display wether you are listening <br /> to .ogg .wma .mp3 .mp2 .wav .mpg and so on.</p> <p>2. Execute external program.<br /> My idea is to write external batch files (or for the <br /> experienced users c++ programs) that for excample free <br /> up space on the hdd, copy files from a network drive <br /> and adjust playlists.
