Here some more suggestions. Maybe you have time to
think about it:

Is it possible to lock the cd drive with some api? If
someone messes around with the cd drive while winamp
has access to it, windows might display a blue screen
and if you only have a numpad plugged in you can't get
rid of it just by pressing escape.

In the Diskbrowser it would be nice if you add a feature
to access the previous directory. If you have lots of
directories it is difficult to navigate through the dirs. If
you have selected the wrong directory you must start
over again and this is not very user friendly.

Also it would be really great if there would be a basic
playlist editor. For example with enqueque file, delete file
and save playlist. So at a party guests would be able to
build their own playlist rather than skipping a currently
playing track that someone else has previously selected.
