with lcdproc on FreeBSD 10.  They updtaed the CFS635 as follows&lt;br/&gt;
from one of their support people:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;"Hardware-wise, there have been some pretty substantial changes. The previous microcontroller (PSoC) didn't have USB built in so we used an FTDI chip to provide a USB endpoint."&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So now lcdproc does not work with the CFA635 anymore, i.e. all we see in&lt;br/&gt;
the system log or dmesg:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;umodem0: &amp;lt;Crystalfontz America,="" Inc.="" Crystalfontz="" CFA635-USB,="" class="" 2="" 2,="" rev="" 2.00="" 2.00,="" addr="" 3=""&amp;gt; on usbus0&lt;br/&gt;
umodem0: data interface 1, has no CM over data, has no break&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Am trying to work with them on a fix but......&lt;br/&gt;
