I was trying to download a function block to Siemens PLC but it i didn't get
results. Did anyone find the way to do thia?

[MPI][Profibus] Working with CPU located in other slot

In the documentation, for function daveNewConnection, written -
"slot: The slot number the CPU is mounted in (normally 2, only meaningful for ISO over TCP)"

Thus for MPI/Profibus it is possible to be connected only to CPU through which the station is attached to a network.
However next variants happen are useful:
- Connection with CPU through the communication processor
- Connecting to a CPU through a different CPU, located in the same Rack

I will explain more in detail the second case (see attach)
To PC through MPI-USB the adapter is connected CPU1. It is required to get access to CPU2.
In prodave - this is possible, in libnodave, apparently not.

Is it possible to include such features in future versions?

the software claims to be BSD compatible... can be ported to be compiled on OSX? the TCP part is the one I'm most interested in

Hi,

will libnodave also be available soon for use on pocket pc?
i like to monitor a S7-200 from pocket pc using VB .net (compact framework)
