No connections displayed

I installed linesrv, which gives me no errors.
I added one ppp connection to /etc/linesrv.conf
I connect with WLC2.

WLC2 gives me no connections to choose from to dial?
What could I possibly do wrong here?

Hi!

Sorry - I'm stupid (just an end user)! I can not work out
how to configure Autohangup with wlc2. What format do
the settings take in the text file?

interface probing while line down?

Hello everybody, and as always my best regards to the
people who are involved in Linecontrol!

After I downloaded version 2.1.13, (although "the
problem" was still there since 2.1.6(i dont know in
previous releases)), I noticed something strange in my
syslog.

I m running SlackWare 8.0. And I have ppp as kernel
module. I use interface ppp0 to connect Internet. When
the line is up, everything is ok, and the syslog is
silent. When the line goes down, my syslog is getting
filled with messages like:
"modprobe: can't probe module ppp0"
This message is repeating itself about 20 to 100 times
in a minute.

I think that this behaviour is logical while
Linecontrol probes the interface to get the
throughoutput. But when the Line is down, why
LineControl keeps probing?

I have to switch to "con_type file" to avoid this?

Status indicator at icon

I have no ideia on how can this be done, but for the
new 3.x series, maybe the client could be implemented
so that the icon on the traybar could change ,
reporting the linestatus.
For instance, the icon backgroud could become
yellow/green as it is displayed by the main window...
Or something in the icon, the phone or the computer
case, I dunno...

Hi,

I use :
the client klcc version 1.0 on redhat 7.1
the server linesrv version 2.1.4 on debian 2.2r3

When I connect to the server, the client tells "connection lost", the
/var/log/daemon tells :
LineControl ML Server 2.1.4 started.
protocol version conflict: client: 32 - server: 33.

can't change in offline-mod

on WLC and XLC the "offline"-option to end the
internet-connection is not aviable. what can i do?

KLCC don't connect

I use KLCC 1.0 and the Server 2.1. The Server is
started, but in /var/log/messages is logged:
linesrv[16133]: protocol version conflict: client: 32 -
server: 33
linesrv[16133]: 192.168.0.10:32922 kicked: uses bad
protocol

This ist the Error-Request from my WLC. The
LineControlServer is started without problems. What's
wrong?

lcc 1.0.5 :: Authentication Failed

Hello!

I m encountering a pretty strange problem. When I try
to log in from my Linux console with the lcc program,
the lcc returns: "failed" and exits. It establishes
the connection 1 time in 10 or more!
If the line is already UP from WLC (the widows
client), the lcc doesnt complaint about authentication
failure, registers itself correctly to the server and
gives Internet connection to the machine from which is
called.

I dont know, what to thing of. I took a look at the
source, but I found nothing appropriate.

If someone could help, I will be delighted! :)

can't locate module ppp0

Hello There,

Since I'm using linesrv with the new kernel (kernel-
2.4.2), everytime linesrv is started there appear a
lot of the same message in my /var/log/messages :
can't locate module ppp0.
What to do about this?
