I get the following in dmesg:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;the above is on connection of the device and then I get the following when I try to open it:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I've verified that these units do work with NI's windows drivers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This is on&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Linux alab-21 2.6.37.6-0.5-default #1 SMP 2011-04-25 21:48:33 +0200 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(SUSE 11.4)&lt;/p&gt;
