&lt;p&gt;I'm using linux-gpib on ARM. I noticed that the first writecommand after (re)boot always times out. The second goes flawless.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;gpib_config is not executed automatically.(maybe a configuration problem on my side)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have tested it on armv6&lt;span&gt;[raspi1(arch)]&lt;/span&gt; and armv7&lt;span&gt;[raspi2(arch), Toshiba AC100(ubuntu)]&lt;/span&gt;. &lt;br/&gt;
