Ran oldconfig, make vmlinux and make modules on kernal code using GCC ver 4.5.1_20. Then I upacked the linux_gpib-3.2.16.tar.gz in my home directory. Ran ./configure, make and make install. The libgpi.so.0 libgpib.so.0.1.7 files are in /usr/local/lib. I use NI USB-GPIB-HS unit. I modified /etc/gpib_conf to match USB-GPIB-HS. When I run (as root) modprobe ni_usb_gpib, I do not get any errors. When I run gpib_config --minor 0, the program can not find the libgpib.so.0 library - reports no file.
