&lt;p&gt;I have install the last 2.4 linux kernel release of the&lt;br /&gt;
gpib driver.&lt;br /&gt;
I get an ID with ibdev, or ibfind with success but when&lt;br /&gt;
I call ibwrt, it exits on timeout.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have a device on address 7  which is correctly&lt;br /&gt;
detected with ibnl.&lt;/p&gt;
