I've noticed two problems with ssh.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) Despite the fact that I have my authorized_keys file set up to allow access from any node to any other with no login, and the fact that the documentation says that if username and password are not required you can leave them blank, lcm still tries to use ssh with a username and password.  The symptom is that I get back an indication that the remote nodes prompted for a password and then denied access.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2) If I supply username and password, it will connect.  However, I've observed that if the command I asked to execute takes time to finish, like an rpm -U of several packages for example, I get back a timed out error.  If it's a quick command, like echo hi, it shows me that it did indeed work.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I just notice that the scrollbar is not working in Manage nodes/deploy &lt;br /&gt;
window, that is really anoying when you have to deal with more than &lt;br /&gt;
around 10 to twelve nodes.&lt;/p&gt;
