I have the same problem except I am (or would like to be!) a first time user. I feel like Alice: can't get into the secret garden. I have finally got an ethernet sorted out and now downloaded Jamulus but it has the same error. Where did you get the .dll from?

VCRUNTIME140_1dll not found. I searched my entire computer and there is no file with the name you mentioned.
There are actually several VCRUNTIME140_ files, but no "VCRUNTIME140_1dll"

VCRUNTIME140_1dll not found.
What version of Windows are you running? This sounds like it might be related to that.

How do I remedy this. I wanted to upgrade it and downloaded a new version. Before deleting my old version. I got that message - "Jamulus.exe System Error - The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1dll was not found. REinstalling the program may fix this problem.

So I uninstalled Jamulus (finding only one in the program files), and then reinstalled it. I still get this message.

Any advice? Thanks.
