BRIGHTNESS=/sys/class/leds/smc\:\:kbd\_backlight/brightness

instead of

BRIGHTNESS=/sys/class/leds/smc\:kbd\_backlight/brightness

when I use appleir it works perfectly except situation when I hold a button and my macbook does not receive key which was pressed. 

It tries to repeat scancode 0, which is bad :\)
