mapcanvas must be defined in other file

The GoogleMap widget misses a definition for the
mapcanvas. This is because that definition is included
with the SimpleMap.

CSS layout doesn't work in PHP 5

The layout of an existing page is not correct when
using PHP 5: all buttons are below each other, and the
map may appear in the left top corner.

parameters width/height/extent not checked

The parameters width/height are not checked against the
extent for the simplemap widget. This means that the
map will probably become distorted initially (if the
wms service permits).

Apache alias not working in Win32 example...

Hi John,

Nice project. I'm just digging into it now. Looks
like it fixes some of the shortcomings in Chameleon.

I installed the demo and found that the Apache aliases
weren't working. I simply had to remove the trailing
forward-slash in the alias directive.

Example before:
Alias /mappingwidgets/demo/ "c:/program
files/mappingwidgets/demo/"

Example after:
Alias /mappingwidgets/demo "c:/program
files/mappingwidgets/demo/"

I'm running Windows XP SP2 and Apache 2.0.54.

target argument is not yet optional

When the target argument is missing for a button, the
buttons doesn't work; at this moment the target
argument is required. It should be optional, and
default to the id of the first (simple)map found.

extent is updated before real change happens

The extent seems to be updated before the corresponding
map image is received from the map server. It should be
the other way round: first be certain that the image is
received, and after that update the extent!

no zoomin for single click

When in zoom in mode, a single click will give the
error message "Alas, image loading failed". What
happens is that the area is too small, to zoom in to.

nested zoomin for overview widget

When using the overview widget for zooming in, into the
current zoom box, the coordinates are taken relative to
the previous zoom box instead of relative to the full
overview map.
