mode issue

Using 'dbpowerAMP' music converter r13 (with Lame codec 3.97)... files coverted to 'stereo' mode are listed as 'joint stereo' mode, with Mp3 Tag Tools v1.2- other programs (eg. MediaMonkey, dbpowerAMP) continue to list same files as 'stereo' mode. Any ideas?

Suggestion: Composer Id3v2 Field

Thanks for the excellent program and keep up the great
work.
I have been using MTT for a while to organize my mp3's, so I was familiar with the software. But I miss a field to input "Composer" in classical tracks.
A Classical disk can contain several "works", each one with a Composer and several movements. And generally one Artist.

Also may be useful if "composer" could be select in the rename operations.

field copy issue

I was wondering if anyone knows if this program can
copy tags from one field to another. I want to copy
the id3v2 artist field to the id3v2 album field. Is
this possible?

Track numbers

Suppose I have 250 files and I would like to bulk
update the track tags from 1 to 250, is there a way to
increment the track for each file?

I'm using MassID3lib to read and write my tags. Nice job
on the app. Straight forward, un-encumbered. I like it.

tags via Coldfusion 7.x. I note that after most fields, it
displays the ASCII char 53.

Is this part of the spec? Is it the way that id3lib handles
things, or MassID3lib? Will it harm my tag/mp3 file if I
remove it?

I hope MP3 tag can support the choice of UTF-8 (big endian or small endian) in the tags. My player need UTF tags to display Chinese song titles/artists.

Mass Change Comments

I've got a lot of MP3 ID3V2 files that have "garbage" in
their comments fields ... tried to use Tag Tools to blank
them out (Selected All Files, Checked the Comments
Field Box, blanked out the Comment field and Clicked on
Write Tags). Seemed to be processing, but Comment
fields still contained junk ... bad stuff looks like some
kind of program/hexidecimal data (10 groups of 8
numbers/chars in the comments for each file. Example:
000000A3 000000F6 00000684 etc.) I tried blanking the
Track field (which contains "good" track numbers) the
same way as a test and that worked fine.

Any idea as to why I can't blank comments? Is there a
way to easily clear/blank these?
