Please create an architecture definition for POWER864VSX - IBM POWER8 with VSX running PPC64 Linux. Someone recently submitted a patch to configure ATLAS on POWER8, but the tuning configuration needs to be generated.
I've been talking with David in order to get access to POWER8. If everything goes according to plan, I should do some work here very soon, but nothing so far.
Regards,
Clint

Hi Clint, thanks for the answer.
Does ATLAS have POWER7 support, at least? Would it run (even if
non-optimally) in a big-endian or little-endian Linux environment ?

Hello!
is there any news about this issue?
I'm about to get hold of an IBM POWER8 machine and would like very much to use ATLAS in my tests.
TIA,
Fabricio

Hi Clint.
I don't know if you're aware of this patch:
