in applet mode the must be a list of all functions in order to facilitate the java-applet to find each class/m-file. This is due to the fact that an applet cannot search the directory structure.

In order to make it easy to add new m-files/class-files to an existing program, one should define a "default" directory where the applet is searching of additional scrips. Also this could be a parameter to the applet.
