matlab.el and the EmacsLink.  I've been using MATLAB&lt;br /&gt;
and Emacs successfully for the past several years, but&lt;br /&gt;
now whenever I try to set breakpoints and run the&lt;br /&gt;
debugger in MATLAB using emacs as the editor I get java&lt;br /&gt;
errors:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Exception in thread "Thread-20"&lt;br /&gt;
java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "and"&lt;br /&gt;
at&lt;br /&gt;
java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(Unknown&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I'm running in WinXP SP2, using NT-emacs 21.3.1,  I've&lt;br /&gt;
tried using earlier versions of matlab.el (2.4) and I'm&lt;br /&gt;
getting the same problem.  I've also posted to Matlab&lt;br /&gt;
Central, but have gotten no replies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I'd like to continue using Emacs and Matlab.&lt;/p&gt;
