seems I do not create a textured image file ( .png) file when creating the textured mesh .obj file.
I am using 64 bit version v2021.07 on w10.

these are the steps i used.
Per Vertex Texture Function.
Convert PerVertex UV into PerWedge UV.
*  Parametrization: trivial Per-triangle.
Quads -per -line : 0
Texture Dimension (px) : 8192
Inter-triangle border (px) : 0
Method : Basic

Save Project as -xxx .mlp

Export Mesh As -xxx .obj ***no .png file created
TexCoord is checked

Transfer:vertex Color to Texture
Texture file: texture-xxx.png
Texture width:8192
Texture height:8192
checked overwrite texture and fill texture

The files created are .mlp, .obj, and .mtl - no .png

Any thoughts what I am doing wrong?

Freecad to Meshlab color export error

Hello everyone,

I am a new to Meshlab.

I have a designed a CAD model in FreeCAD software. Colors are given to the assembly, but no color is visible and is totally white.

I have tried many ways by importing different file formats, but colors are not displaying.

When it is imported individually, colors are displaing, but when it comes to complete assembly, it is full white.

At first, for independent part also it displayed white. But after refering to one blog, when I tried VRML file format colors are displayed. Other file formats are not supportive.

Is anyone know how can I solve it ?

It will be great help.

I am using Meshlab_64bit_fp v2016.12 version.

how can I add plugin to meshlab software

I'm a new user to Meshlab and I would like to use the following plugin https://github.com/cnr-isti-vclab/meshlab/tree/master/src/plugins_experimental/filter_segmentation

However, I did not find this plugin in the plugin list. How can I add this plugin to Meshlab

Thank you

PLY "can't open file"

I'm trying to import an ASCII PLY file in Ubuntu 16.04, but I just get the error message "can't open file". I actually have several PLY files in this directory, all created using an identical process, but I've noticed that only the larger (>500 MB) ones can't be opened, while the smaller ones load fine. Searching online only turns up the locale-related "unexpected EOF" bug, but I have no such message, and all my files have the same delimiters.

#15 vrml - IndexedLineSet - File without a geometry

I am also getting the same error...Did anyone resolve?

Performance problems and crashes in alignment

Hello

I've been using meshlab for some time now and I recently changed my notebook to a much more performant one.

But, now I got some problems:
-first is the performance, with my old one with a 5500u and MX240 I had like 15-20FPS while working with about 10 meshes, now I'm at 3-10 with a 7700HQ and a 1050
-second I get many crashes while working with the alignment: almost always then I import meshes and try to align the first one, meshlab crashes

I'm using windows 10 education (64bit) and the meshlab build from the 23.12.2016.
The notebook im using is a Lenovo Yoga 720 15 with 7700HQ, 1050 and 16GB RAM.

Greetings

Opening Failure

Hi,

and I attach the demo stl . The triangle faces are uniform, but there are some thin and sharp triangle in mine.
I want to adjust it . Is there any recommendation?
