&lt;p&gt;This way you move only newer mails to your new mail server, leaving the old mail server as an archive server.&lt;/p&gt;

migration NOW, or save it out to a shell script to be&lt;br /&gt;
run later.  Migrate NOW would be used for smaller&lt;br /&gt;
migration jobs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This will be easily configurable via the simple HTML&lt;br /&gt;
form. This way the administrator can either force which&lt;br /&gt;
method the end use must use, or can leave it up to the&lt;br /&gt;
end user.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;NOTE - Once this feature is in place and you choose to&lt;br /&gt;
have the script run right when the user submits the&lt;br /&gt;
request, a warning should be displayed to the user&lt;br /&gt;
about their web server timeout.&lt;br /&gt;
(Remember, web server timeouts are different from php&lt;br /&gt;
timeouts which are controlled by the max_execution_time&lt;br /&gt;
