#12 Does Not Load All MP3s in Folder

I have just installed MP3Gain V1.2.5, full version, WinXP, and tried to load 13 newly created MP3s,
from a single folder. However 9 of the 12 will load, attempts to load the remaining four produce no result.

All MP3s play without trouble in WMP 11 and were created with the same programs that created the other 9
with no change in parameters (each is either a 128 or 256kbit/sec recording). I am able to run analysis
& gain change on the loaded MP3s.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem ?

Thank you,

DH

Found the problem, it was characters such as &, hyphenated e & a, and a c with a "squiggle" beneath, that caused the missed load. The solution is of course to change these characters, and change them back after gain change if desired.

Thank you so much for this! Really glad you reported back, very helpful and I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out why it wasn't working
