Amplitude wave not synchronized with sound
utility to split mp3, ogg vorbis and FLAC files without decoding

sorry I was not logged, the questio is mine:
on Ubuntu, 14.10, 15.04, 15.10 often the silence that I hear is not synchronized with the wave that I see. To cut correctly when I must do it? when I hear or when I see? there is something that I can do for the synchronization?

The same on Windows 7, especially visible while Zoom In.
It is more accurate to rely on what you see in the amplitude wave view as opposed to what you hear. This shifting phenomenon happens when the file header gets manipulated or the file is cut or combined and the frame count is off. Using a tool that analyzes the file and rebuilds the header (including frame count) can help fix this. Otherwise really on the visual.
