I am running openSuse 15.1 and mp3splt ver. 2.6.2-lp151.2.2

When I try to use mp3splt in terminal I get an error: Processing file 'AmyMcCarleyMECO.mp3' ...
error: no plugin matches the file 'AmyMcCarleyMECO.mp3'

I have read oler posts regading installing the libmp3splt-devel package, which I have installed but this does not fix the problem.
There seems to be nothing current on this problem.
Does anyone have a solution?

sudo zypper in libmp3splt0-mp3 libmp3splt0-ogg
