Copy URL does not show up with Klipper

If you tell the MPlayer plug-in to copy the URL, the copied URL does not show up in Klipper at all.

Does mplayerplug-in work with firefox3?

When going to CNN.com, for instance, and clicking on a
video, mplayer comes up as if to play the video, but
continually loops the link inside the window. This did not
happen with the 3.25 version

I am running SUSE Version 10.1, and a forum entry at
SUSEForums reported that this was a bug in the 3.30
version, and that I should get the 3.25 version and use
it. Unfortunately, that version doesnt seem to be around
any more.

I have had several people attempt to resolve the issue. I
have tried uninstalling Firefox 1.5.0.6 and reinstalling,
along with reinstalling the player, to no avail.

I would really appreciate some help.

I have a problem with compiling mplayerplug-in 3.25.
When I do a 'make' I have this a command:

mplayerplug-in "stopped"

Hi, my Mplayer-plugin has stopped working for video
(not audio) and I don't know why. It appears in the
pages in which the videos are shown, and then it says
it's buffering, and then it says "stopped" and that's
it. After reinstalling, the odd behavior is there. I
have recently updated gcc and Xorg and imagine I have
inadvertently removed a required compenent but can't
figure out which. Could anybody give me a hint about
what's happening, please?

Can anyone port this plugin for Windows? I have to use
Windows at work and hate quicktime. It'ld be nice to

There is a huge discussion on how to get the plugin to
work in Opera at http://my.opera.com/community/forums/
topic.dml?id=117477&t=1137121830 -- there is even a
hack to make it work but I really think this should be
handled at the developer level for the plugin.

I hope the developers will consider making the plugin
work in opera. Alot of us would really like it.

Want to use this on the FC4 distributions on AMD64
(X86_64) ?

Remove the DEBUG code, around line 616, the two that
attempt to cast the (null *) into an (unsigned int)....
and recompile. 64 bit clean, with only a few warnings.

This, BTW, is a hint to authors.... :)

redhat 9 machine, pretty much stock. Latest (as of
yesterday) mplayer compiles, installs, runs w/o
problems. My intent is to get the plugin working with
FireFox. So, I D/L source, and...

I googled for NPNVToolkit, but got very few results
(seven, in fact) and none of them led me to a resolution.

I looked for binary RPMs, but they're only available
for Fedora, which RH9 definitely isn't. So source seems
to be my only option.

Assistance would be most appreciated.
