Last night my cable connection was acting up and I found <br /> - using the CLI ping program - that it was dropping about 40% of <br /> the packets. Technically the connection was not down, but TCP <br /> performance was in the toilet. Therefore I would really like to see <br /> MultiPing track packet loss too.</p> <p>Secondly, I hope that Apple releases Java 1.5 ASAP, but of course <br /> MultiPing detects the stock java 1.4.2 installation on my Mac OS X <br /> box and terminates as expected.
