I am trying to install mutella on a computer which runs
NetBSD 1.6.2_STABLE

$ ./configure --prefix=$HOME --exec-prefix=$HOME

teminates with this error:

checking readline/readline.h usability... yes
checking readline/readline.h presence... yes
checking for readline/readline.h... yes
checking for readline in readline.h... no
checking for readline in readline.h with curses... no
checking for readline in readline.h with ncurses... no
checking for readline in readline.h with termcap... no
configure: error: You must have readline library!

I tried ./configure --prefix=$HOME --exec-prefix=$HOME
--with-readline=/usr/include

and /sys/pkg/include/ where another readline.h is
installed (I don't know why?)
but still get the same final error

Has somebody already seen and solved this?

Thanks if yes

I just tried to compile the 0.4.3 on a DIGITAL Alpha
Server 800 5/500 (CPU: Alpha EV5.6) running Linux Red
Hat 7.2 Enigma (for Alpha)

It seems to "./configure", "make" and "make install"
okay. When I run then program it starts, when I type
help it shows the relevant info, but after 5-6 sec, I
get a "Floating point exception" and Mutella terminates
returning me to the shell prompt.

Do anyone have any clue as to what goes wrong here -
please...

The search will
procede as normal but when the search reaches the max
results or times out, it will automagically download
the file with the most hits. This is based on the
theory that the more people that have downloaded (and
kept) a file is generally the one that the user
downloads also. This would also be usefull for piling
on search for specific files and having Mutella
automatically grab the most popular one instead of ALL
available like the current auto-get feature. :-)

StrictSearch

Can you describe the functionality of the variable
missing at least the configure script. I've tried copying 0.4.2
over 0.4.1 so that all the files are there and as up to date
as I can make them, but it still won't configure.

Am I missing something really obvious?! :)

Thanks
