When I run a macro that invokes a shell_command, it returns a string of text to the macro which gets presented to the user in a Dialog function. This works 1st time but when run a subsequent time, it hangs the nedit session. Have to kill it and restart. Is this a known issue?

#16 how to get a list of the open files

.nedit/nedit.history worked for me. But if you prefer not to do that your history list will be kept in the file ~/.neditdb - if you do switch to the current format you won't lose your history file, nedit knows to copy it to ~/.nedit/nedit.history on the changeover...

#16 how to get a list of the open files

What version are you using? Is there a way to do that?
Is there a more appropiate place to ask this question?
Thanks

#15 Num Keymap not work

I'm indeed also encountering the same issue. The issue also only appearing in the editor field. E.g. the find box is not affacted.

It seems to be related to a change in openmotif 2.3.4 to solve issues with the numpad erros:
http://bugs.motifzone.net/long_list.cgi?buglist=1649
If I undo the patch #1300 for openmotif 2.3.4, recompile the software and reboot the issue is indeed resolved. But in that case the numpad arrows indeed no longer work.

As mentioned in the bug report, the openmotif demo 'periodic' does not seem to have this issue. So I expect it a combination of a change in openmotif and how the editor field is implemented in nedit.

Num Keymap not work

Hi,
