#13 XEP-0144: Roster Item Exchange
Just a small suggestion - you might want to consider adding support for XEP-0144: Roster Item Exchange, specifically for adding gateway/transport contacts.
We "now" have ICQ & Facebook transports on Jabbim (jabbim.com, jabber.cz, njs.netlab.cz etc.) which support this extension.
rosterx makes it very easy to add many contacts with names and groups all at once.
The transport code is free/open-source: http://developer.pidgin.im/viewmtn/branch/shortchanges/im.pidgin.soc.2009.transport
Although documentation and some bits are missing and the project has not been finished yet.
