Have a default module that will run and show the 404 page whenever a requested m/s/e is not found. This will allow people to write custom 404 logic in CGN. (give examples in the comments/code about how to use it!)

Alternatively, each m/s/e tree could have some sort of default 404 behaviour methods which would get called.

Example:

welcome.main.foo

if welcome.main exists, but no foo, call the default 'method404Event' in the main service.

If welcome module exists with no main, load a default 404.php service file in that directory to handle a 404 at that level.

If no welcome module exists at all, fall in to a '404' module.

That alternative might be too confusing though. Just writing it up seemed confusing. But maybe you'll come up with a new way of thinking about it based on that.

Time Stamp on Trash Can Detail

I would like to have a time stamp applied to trash can entries in addition to the date. Multiple entries are impossible to sort without it if you want to restore the last thing you did.

Trash Can Mass Erase Feature

I would like an option to "mass erase" all of the items listed in the trash can area. A way to purge the trash can quickly......

Multi User Editing Features

Could the Cognifty CMS Control Panel incorporate a system of record locking. If multiple users access the system, there is nothing preventing one user from overwriting the changes of another. Some method simple record locking processes may solve most of the problem.

Flexible Templates

I would like a Cognifty CMS system feature that allows for a very flexible template.

Minimally, an ability to "tie a template to a content record". In other words, I want this template with this record. Some sort of tool in the Control Panel to manage this.

Optimally, a way to "toggle visibilty, style and/or position" portions of a template based upon settings for a content record in the control panel.

Basically, visibility, style, and placement

Some areas for consideration are:

* Menu(s)
* Content sections
* Content sub-sections??
* headers
* footers
* new windows ??

One of the ideas I have for this feature is a multi-lingual site.

Parent Item Link to Content

Could the Cognifty CMS Control Center include a feature whereby a Parent Item Link can open a content page at the same moment is is expanding to expose the child links underneath it.

At present, I have to go into the DB table and hand edit the Parent Link Menu Item to get this behavior.

Permissions and Authorizations Libraries

The Cognifty CMS system needs permissions and authorizations libraries.

These libraries are necessary for managing site access and future features.

Breadcrumb Navigation

Could a "Breadcrumb Navigation" feature be incorporated into the Cognifty CMS System.

I would like to take advantage of a feature that will allow me to present a "bread crumb" trail of links indicating what level of my website the user is in. Clicking on any of the "level links" will take you to that level.

Module Management Tools

The Cognifty CMS Control Center needs to contain a basic tool set to manage custom modules.

At a minimum, some way to "register" a new module and make sure the user can access any custom Administrative Interface they create for the module.

At present, I must hard code a Control Center Menu Link for the custom module I have created. This can be wiped out by a patch downloaded from SourceForge.

Mass Publish / Edit Tools

Could the next version of the Cognifty CMS Control Center contain some "mass edit / publish tools" ?

The ability to perform an action on multiple records in various areas.
