XML Tools informed that the a bug is resolved as under:
Release 2.4.2 (r1057)
- Modification of PrettyPrint behaviour to avoid changing
"<foo> <foo>"to"<foo/>"
Issues:
- 64 bit version of the XMLTools.dll is not available
- Even when 32 bit verson is added to a 32 bit Notepad++ issue persists as stated below:
I have a XML file with all XML tags, attributes, variables etc on a sinle line.
The line
<Variable internalName="StartEvent" displayName="Event" type="unsignedInt"></Variable>
is changed to
<Variable internalName="StartEvent" displayName="Event" type="unsignedInt"/>
When the option "Pretty print (XML only - with line breaks)" is selected.
Please fix the issue.
After updating NP++ and XML Tools, Pretty Print with line breaks now locks up NP++. Totally unuseable. The string I was formatting did not have complete and correctly formatted XML.
64 bit Windows
NP++: 7.5.8
XML Tools: 2.4.9.2
