PROBLEM - ERRORS

Description:
Errors during launches of apps due to errors in manifest files (app.config)

Note: this may be VS2008 Orcas issue!!

Steps:
1. unpacking sources
2. opening solution it in VS2008 RTM
3. correcing log4net references
4. build solution -> ok
5. launch any application => errors (see below)

1. Error DialogBox launching from VS2008 Orcas

Error while trying to run project:Unable to start program
'\src\GuiRunner\nunit-gui-exe\bin\Debug\nunit.exe.'

This application has failed to start because the application
configuration is incorrect. Review the manifest file for possible
errors. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem. For more
details, please see the application event log.

2. Error Message starting from Windows explorer

\src\GuiRunner\nunit-gui-exe\bin\Debug\nunit.exe.

This application has failed to start because the application
configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may
fix the problem.

3. Error Message starting from command prompt

\src\GuiRunner\nunit-gui-exe\bin\Debug>nunit.exe
The system cannot execute the specified program.

NOTE: This may be VS2008 Orcas issue!!!

1. replace in all App.config
encoding="Windows-1252"
with
empty string (i.e. remove encoding)
or
encoding="utf-8"

2. Error Message starting from Windows explorer

\src\GuiRunner\nunit-gui-exe\bin\Debug\nunit.exe.

This application has failed to start because the application
configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may
fix the problem.

3. Error Message starting from command prompt

\src\GuiRunner\nunit-gui-exe\bin\Debug>nunit.exe
