With a slow, low priority thread process working on this, it would be nice to have the search results (from top to bottom) start turning green if you have the tuples and descriptor already in your cache.
If not green then add a checkmark of some sort.
Maybe go further and show how many blocks you have already stored that are needed to complete the file.
