it will allow for compatibility between Unices. Or,
maybe in R2?

HPNA 2.0 Support

I think it would be excellent if there was built-in
Home Phoneline 2.0 10Mbps Networking Support. Then,
Open BeOS would be able to provide one thing that Linux
can't.

32bit colors

it would really be cool implementing a native 32bit color
(24bit color + 1 byte alpha blend) os!!!
...maybe in r2 ;)
but think of it

True type font utility

Addition of a true type font conversion utility like

I think you should have a nice modern 4gl. To be
compared to VB or delphi. Hell you could even use
Object Pascal which is an open standard. And that way
you could leech into the pascal community. Or else
maybe use the basic languange. Anyway make it that
way you don't ask people to learn a totally new
languange.

BTW: Make a good framework for it so anyone can
make a nice utility or game.

And I'll bet in the shortest time you will have 100's of
freeware appz to run on OpenBe.

Regards,

developing a Virtual machine on openBeOS.
