use Net::SNMP qw(:snmp);

If I try to compile this, PERLIDE console shows:
"Entering open perl debugger, connecting to port
1201...connected."
Then it eats up all available RAM (I have 1Gb
installed) and stays that way for some minutes until
it blows up with a Windows application error (see
attach) and the memory gets freed. The CPU usage gets
only at the 10-20%.

I tried this on another machine and the result os the
same.

Is there any reason for this to happen ?

Thanks,

I downloaded the Perl IDE from your web site along with
the 5.8 patch and tried to run the Hello.pl program. I
did this in the IDE once successfully, but since then, I've
selected 'RUN' and nothing happens. The
acForceScriptTermination option is the only option I
have after that, and it tells me:

Can't locate IO/Socket/INET.pm in @INC (@INC
contains: .. . c:/Apps/perl/lib c:/Apps/perl/site/lib .)
at ../perl5db.pl line 44.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ../perl5db.pl line 44.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted.

Do I need to register my product or get a license?

I try to find the IO/Socket folder, but it is not there.

Please let me know what I am doing incorrectly.

Thanks,
losing the changes. I tried the steps given in the user-
manual, it still does not work. I created a
notice there's only entry for 'Default' desktop, no entry

I would appreciate any kind. I use Perl IDE BIG-TIME and
