Hi.
I have bought a analog and a digital board from olimex. Need I burn the firmware to the digital board?

Power to electrodes

Arrange the boards in such a way that there is an extra
pin or two to carry power to the electrodes, so that
the active electrodes don't need batteries

Distill mailing list wisdom

Andreas, and then Jim Peters. Keep an eye out for
other potentially useful people, and do the same.

Revise Multichannel documentation

different channels
- Get a better description of what can be left
out from the DRL
circuit, and whether we can fix this by putting
a jumper in
somewhere to enable/disable it
- Find out whether we need to just use a

Revise Warning document

legalistic. Include:
- Risk of seizure (next to electric shock)
- Above the information provided by the list member,

Case prepared by Olimex

I'm hoping we can design a case and cabling set which
Olimex would be able to put together for us. I don't
have all the requisite information for this, but I will
begin seeking it.

Easier Multi-channel configuration

According to the Multi-channel page on the ModularEEG
page, multi-channel EEG requires modifications to the
circuit board. I'd hope that we'd be able to reduce
(and hopefully eliminate) requiring modifications to
the board. My suggestions for doing this are:
- Use actual jumpers for the SJ jumpers
- If we only need one DRL circuit in the whole system,
would having a jumper (or two) in series with this
circuit enable people to easily add/remove the DRL
section of the circuit?

Hopefully we can move in this direction

Jumpers labelled properly

On the Olimex boards, the following are jumpers, but
are not labelled as such (and have no part number):
- DRL
- EEG Ch 1
- EEG Ch 2
- Cal_GND/U_cal
- Serial (RXD/TXD/GND)
- Power (GND1/PWR)
If there's room, I'd like to see these labelled with a
part number (ie. J777) to make them easier to refer to.

LED Replaced with jumper on Olimex boards

I'd like to see the LED replaced with a jumper on the
Olimex boards so that people can hook the LED to their
own case.
