omnifi share network folder at certain times

I figure since I believe Linux has the ability to share
folders on the network that this box could potentially do
that. I wonder if it would be possible to make it flick on
at a certain time of night like the sync feature does now
and then instead of it syncing with the SimpleCenter app
you can use any number of home brew scripts or
applications to sync the drive or change it's files to your
liking so that you can upload and erase whatever you
want on it.
