#53 Dolby Digital?
The daunting task of breaking into the box would be
great. But, is it possible to locate the data bus
that goes to the D/A Converter and facilitate a
straight digital output from the DMP1? I assume there
is a converter or it just wouldnt be possible. Also,
the DMP1 wouldnt have to do any decoding itself. I
have a Dolby Digital decoder like many of us that I
cannot use! Wouldnt it be nice to store a Dolby
Digital recording and play back your 5.1 music? Just
a thought. It might be a very longshot but a very
cool idea.
