the libraries as single, big sources (stitched together&lt;br /&gt;
via #include statements).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While symbol privacy is generally a good thing, the font&lt;br /&gt;
library is little more than a data repository.  It may&lt;br /&gt;
make sense to migrate the font data back to a public&lt;br /&gt;
status and allow for separate compilation of the&lt;br /&gt;
extensive data that make up the bitmapped fonts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This only applies to gleanfonts.  I don't anticipate&lt;br /&gt;
