I think that the error message is not accurate. I say this because my previous church only uses images for slides and no text — they show the music for all of the songs and not just the words. Some of the sets will end up with 80-100 images and on a system with much-smaller memory, yet have no performance issues or out-of-memory errors. Also, we have had some issues reported due to unmatched resolutions between picture and alpha mask as we move from using a separate mask to an embedded alpha channel in the pictures. This might be one of those issues.

Would you please post one of the sets that crashes along with the PresentSettings file from your Settings folder? If the set includes songs or images that are copyrighted (likely), please email them instead to me (opensong (at) gmail.com).
