Without any further information (like which system, what error message ...) we can't really help you.
You may try to reinstall OpenSong.
Also try using a clean configuration:
First try to delete preferences.plist below a folder with OpenSong in it's name (you may find where it is on your system by searching tickets, or your computer's file system).
If that does not help, try to remove files in the Settings folder below OpenSong's document folder.
Also clean out any non-OpenSong files and folders from OpenSong's document folder and make sure you can read any files there and have permission to create, read, and write files there.

Opensong 3.4.x not working on newer linux distros. I've downladed RealBasic 2010r5.1 and tried to execute but I've got the same error "unhandle exception error". You must to compile with newer version of RealBasic, which works.
