Hello,

You may have noticed that Debian 13 was released this month. After trying to install OpenSong via the official .deb package (amd64), I encountered several dependency-related issues.

Indeed, some libraries required by OpenSong (such as libsoup2.4, libwebkitgtk-3.0.0, and older versions of GTK) are no longer available in Debian 13, which has cleaned up many obsolete packages. This blocks the installation and prevents the software from launching. In fact, the apt install -f command no longer fixes the packages but removes OpenSong...

I understand that these changes in Debian can be difficult to keep up with, but it would be really helpful to update the OpenSong packages to ensure compatibility with this new major release of Debian.

Thank you in advance for your work on this project, and please feel free to ask if I can help with testing or provide more information.

I will check if I, or some other developer, can provide a new package for linux.

Until then, please check out the following thread #356 Linux deb libwebkit2gtk dependency

Thanks for the update! I’ll keep an eye on #356 and will be happy to test any new package for Debian 13 when it’s available.
